Dr T Lobsang Rampa

All books ever written and published by T. Lobsang Rampa are available for download from this site in various formats FOR FREE
http://www.lobsangrampa.org/research.html

The Third Eye - (Originally published in 1956) this is where it all started; an autobiography about a young man's journey into becoming a medical Lama and undergoing an operation to open the third eye. We are shown a glimpse into the Tibetan way of Lamasery life and the deep understanding of spiritual knowledge. Until this point in time lamasery life was unknown; even to those few who had actually visited Tibet. Lobsang enters the Chakpori Lamasery and learns the most secret of Tibetan esoteric sciences and much more.

Lobsang only ever wrote 19 books and they are listed here in their correct publication order. I have portrayed; very briefly, what each book is about. We are performing scan corrections on all 19 books; albeit there may be the odd error here and there that may have been missed, email me errors found so I may make further corrections.

This personal website has been primarily designed to provide an ideal starting point into further understanding the many obscurities of metaphysics - without the many superfluous frills as many web sites have today - whilst stimulating your curiosity about the many mysteries of life; whilst highlighting mighty truths, many unknown and not understood by the general public. It has never; and never will be, for any financial gain. This personal website is a work of love and adoration for Dr Rampa’s knowledge. You could say this is my candle; a candle I hope which will help you see the way forward without having to curse the darkness; as so many do in today's world.

"What does it matter WHO I am? It is what I WRITE that is important. Throughout the years hordes of experts have tried to prove me wrong. They have failed. If I am a fake, where do I get the knowledge which others are now copying? All my books contain my own personal experiences, nothing of it is the so-called automatic writing beloved of the Press. I am neither possessed nor obsessed. I am just a person trying to do a very, very difficult task in the face of bigotry and jealousy. There are those in High Places in India and elsewhere who could help, but who prostitute their religion to politics and so, for political reasons etc., they deny the truth of what I write!" - http://www.lobsangrampa.org/aboutme.html

Scientific Evidence Proves Why Healers See The 'Aura' Of People

4 May 2012

Researchers in Spain have found that many of the individuals claiming to see the aura of people –traditionally called "healers" or "quacks"– actually present the neuropsychological phenomenon known as "synesthesia" (specifically, "emotional synesthesia"). This might be a scientific explanation of their alleged "virtue". In synesthetes, the brain regions responsible for the processing of each type of sensory stimuli are intensely interconnected. This way, synesthetes can see or taste a sound, feel a taste, or associate people with a particular color.

10 Facts About Men That Seem To Escape Most Women

The communication barrier between male and female of the human species is an age-old dilemma. We understand that we’re wired differently, yet we’ve never quite managed to find a common language. No one is ever going to accuse men of being complex creatures, mind you, but still women fail to comprehend some fundamental truths about them.
The following are ten facts about men that women just haven’t figured out:

Top Five Regrets - By Bronnie Ware

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives.

People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learned never to underestimate someone's capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected, denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though, every one of them.

When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again. Here are the most common five:

1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me
This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have had not honored even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made.

It is very important to try and honor at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.

2. I wish I didn't work so hard
This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children's youth and their partner's companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.

By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings
Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.

We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends
Often they would not truly realize the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.

It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called 'comfort' of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.

When you are on your deathbed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying. Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

Some of the Greatest People the World had ever known

This is a list of people so great their work was beyond understanding

Most people on this list were so far advanced that they were opposed, ousted, rejected, belittled, discarded and science will always try to disprove their work or steer you away from them.

In the Middle Ages, the CHURCH oppressed & suppressed, they persecuted & prosecuted free & progressive thinkers, anyone that opposed them, anyone who's work they could not understand & anyone they perceived a threat. Since then, that OPPRESSIVE role has been taken over by organised SCIENCE. For the past 400 years SCIENCE HAS BEEN SUPPRESSING, PERSECUTING & PROSECUTING EXACTLY SUCH INTELLIGENT PROGRESSIVE INDIVIDUALS!

In my view Science is an insult to knowledge, it is backward and oppressive and it kept us in the dark ages until now.

Science only tries to investigate what others already know & that cannot be understood by scientists. High Incarnates like these greats were centuries ahead of their time, and they changed the World forever.

They proved my late brother's statement that "NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE, but some things are just highly unlikely."

The interesting thing about people like those mentioned here is that science would rather oppose them and try to disprove them, to conjure up disinformation to warrant their attempts to prove them wrong, than learn from them. It has always amazed me how puny science can be in that they would follow some misguided skeptic anti everything so-called scientist who understands nothing of this world, yet they oppose those that were so highly advanced and whom we could and should learn from. It is irrational to say the least. They're still on the train of evolution, searching for the origins of humans on Earth, while the answers have been laid out before them so many times over and over and over by so many people and so many sources.

What is the sense of possessing so much data and zero knowledge. We are studying more and more of the same and discovering nothing of applicable value. Instead of utilising what had been given to us we are allowing science to oppress us, just because they are unable to understand anything they had not read, and that was not written by some professor with a good memory.

We have had people that had come to this World to teach us, to guide us and to provide us with unlimited knowledge and insight and we discard them due to dogma, either some religious dogma or scientific dogma. Have you ever considered just how blinded people are thanks to science's misguided teachings on evolution? Due to this limited dogma's and paradigms in which the churches and science are stuck we are denied so much.

There is ZERO ZILCH NOTHING of value knowing ANYTHING that someone like Richard Dawkins had said or written, it adds NOTHING to anything or anyone. It is of the utmost importance that we study the work of the so-called dissidents, those greats that are ignored, ousted and denied by organised science. Those are the people that add to our knowledge.

"You know you were successful in life when the day you die people do NOT miss you." - Dr. Myles Munroe (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myles_Munroe)

The above statement relates to the sharing of knowledge. If you had shared all your knowledge unselfishly and freely, if you had shared your love in abundance you would have fulfilled all the needs to those around you. If after your departure from this world people repeatedly say "I miss him/her, because I still wanted to get this or that info", "I wish he/she was here to explain this or that to me", "I always wanted to ask him about this or that", then you failed in this life, because you did not share all your knowledge.

If you had been successful you would have shared all your knowledge so freely and openly that nothing is missing, that we do not need to miss you, because of gaps in the info you left us, because you shared everything with us, THAT is being successful.

Knowledge is what builds the World, what develops and grows the World and any knowledge that we possess must be shared with mankind BEFORE we die so people would not miss us for a lack of that knowledge.

In this sense We need to weigh people on this list objectively. One of the most successful people was Nikola Tesla, because he wanted to share everything, to share his knowledge for a better world, to provide the world with free, clean energy. It was the work of organised science and greed that prevented us from having all that knowledge today. That knowledge, which he wanted to give to us openly and freely, was withheld and even destroyed by higher powers.

Nikola Tesla is one of the the greatest engineers to ever have walked the planet, but he was oppressed and suppressed. His work should be the basis of all science and engineering education and training. Each and every person on earth should know his name, should have been taught about him and his work. If his ORIGINAL work is shared and deliberately distributed, someone out there among us would synchronise with it and build on it.

Nikola tesla was successful because he wanted and was willing to share his knowledge and he cannot be accused of failure, because politics, commerce and science withheld it from us.

Probably the most successful person on the list in this respect is Samuel Hahnemann, because he shared all the knowledge he possessed successfully. There were things he himself did not understand at the time and which he obviously could not share, but if he did have the knowledge he would have. He also has something else in common with Nikola Tesla and that is that he wished to share it with the whole world. He wanted the whole world to have access to his discoveries and he wanted to improve the whole world with he. He was not in the least shelfish in his sharing of knowledge pertaining to Homeopathy and health. He gave the world the most successful, most advanced, safest, most gentle form of medicinal therapeutics and called it Homeopathy. He was fortunate in that his knowledge spread and was distributed faster than it could be suppressed. Ever attempt by organised science and big pharma to suppress Homeopathy had failed and it will continue to fail forever. The simple reason for this is that good will always triumph above evil. Long after the world economy had collapsed and big pharma had disappeared as a result, Homeopathy will live on. What organised science, the media and big pharma do not consider is that Homeopathy is a knowledge and knowledge can never disappear. Big pharma sells medicine and medicine is a business and when the economy collapses it will disappear, but knowledge will stand, it will remain. Homeopathy being knowledge can be shared freely, drugs cannot. Hahnemann brought knowledge to this world and shared that knowledge freely.

In my opinion Hahnemann is the most successful of all on my list and Tesla is his equal, because we miss Tesla only due to the damage caused by science and commerce. Science and commerce were successful in their attempts to destroy much of Tesla's work and it is lost forever and for that we cannot blame Tesla himself.

Being Educated according to Ed Leedskalnin

"You know we receive an education in the schools from books.  All those books that people became educated from twenty-five years ago, are wrong now, and those that are good now, will be wrong again twenty-five years from now.  So if they are wrong then, they are also wrong now, and the one who is educated from the wrong books is not educated, he is misled.  All books that are written are wrong, the one who is not educated cannot write a book and the one who is educated, is really not educated but he is misled and the one who is misled cannot write a book which is correct.

The misleading began when our distant ancestors began to teach their descendants.  You know they knew nothing but they passed their knowledge of nothing to the coming generations and it went so innocently that nobody noticed it.  That is why we are not educated.

Now I will tell you what education is according to my reasoning.  An educated person is one whose senses are refined.  We are born as brutes, we remain and die as the same if we do not become polished.  But all senses do not take polish.  Some are to coarse to take it.  The main base of education is one's "self-respect".  Any one lacking self-respect cannot be educated.  The main bases of self-respect is the willingness to learn, to do only the things that are good and right, to believe only in the things that can be proved, to possess appreciation and self control.

Now, if you lack willingness to learn, you will remain as a brute and if you do things that are not good and right, you will be a low person, and if you believe in things that cannot be proved, any feeble  minded person can lead you, and if you lack appreciation, it takes away the incentive for good doing and if you lack self control you will never know the limit.

So all those lacking these characteristics in their makeup are not educated."

Ed Leedskalnin, 1936

PLEASE DO NOT make the MISTAKE of thinking someone like Ed Leedskalnin confused double-blind clinical trials with "proof", because double-blind clinical trials are not proof of anything, it is merely misleading the blind and deaf.

Study confirms existence of the G-spot

25 April 2012

For centuries, women have been reporting engorgement of the upper, anterior part of the vagina during the stage of sexual excitement, despite the fact the structure of this phenomenon had not been anatomically determined.

A new study published in The Journal of Sexual Medicine documents that this elusive structure, known as the G-spot,  does exist anatomically.

Exactly where is the G-spot is located?

Adam Ostrzenski, MD, PhD, of the Institute of Gynecology in St. Petersburg, FL, conducted a stratum-by-stratum anterior vaginal wall dissection on an 83-year-old cadaver. The dissection established the presence of the G-spot, a well-delineated sac structure located on the dorsal (back) perineal membrane, 16.5 mm from the upper part of the urethral meatus, creating a 35 degree angle with the lateral (side) border of the urethra.

Having three distinct regions, the G-spot emerged with dimensions of length (L) of 8.1 mm x width (W) 3.6 mm to 1.5 mm x height (H) 0.4 mm. Upon removal of the entire structure with the adjacent margin tissues, the G-spot stretched from 8.1 to 33 mm.

"This study confirmed the anatomic existence of the G-spot, which may lead to a better understanding and improvement of female sexual function," Ostrzenski concludes.

Irwin Goldstein, editor-in-chief of The Journal of Sexual Medicine believes that research in women's sexual health issues is important. "This case study in a single cadaver adds to the growing body of literature regarding women's sexual anatomy and physiology."  - (EurekAlert, April 2012)

The Food Industry Thinks They can do Better than Nature

The problem with our food industry and big agriculture goes far beyond foods which are genetically modified, irradiated, pasteurized, homogenized, enriched, refined, toxically preserved, or grown with antimicrobials, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or any other "cide." The problem is actually in our minds and how we think about food and nature itself. We are filled with knowledge but no wisdom. We think we can do better than nature. We think we can outsmart nature. Most of all, we think there will never be consequences to our superiority complexes in how we treat nature. Nature just waits patiently, until the day comes when she opens the door and decides to cleanse the earth and show the human species who is the smartest one of all. Nature is knocking...can you hear her?

If you don't go back to sleep, but you may wake up one day to the shocking reality of what we have done to this planet. However, if you are informed and receptive to what our species has done to nature, and if you have become complacent about it, then you too may be in for a rude awakening as you are not positively contributing to a resolution to help Mother Earth.

Mother Earth gives us so much and yet we take, take, take and give nothing back to her. She gives us all that we need for life and sustenance and how do we reward her? We pollute her instead of honouring what she provides...the balance of life.

WHO ARE WE TO THINK WE CAN CREATE BETTER FOOD?

Why do we feel we constantly need to create an environment to improve nature? If anything, this type of thinking interferes with nature. Genetically modified (GM) foods are an excellent example.

Integrated Pest Management and other innovative low-input or organic methods of controlling pests and boosting yields have proven highly effective, particularly in the developing world, yet Monsanto and other corporate interests insist that GM foods can help feed the world. They make these assertions without any knowledge of the long-term consequences of GM foods including allergies, organ damage, cancer, immunotoxicity and damaging transgenes affecting future generations.

"There are no commercialized GM crops that inherently increase yield. Similarly, there are no GM crops on the market that were engineered to resist drought, reduce fertilizer pollution or save soil. Not one.”
-- Dr Doug Gurian-Sherman.

A major UN/World Bank-sponsored report compiled by 400 scientists and endorsed by 58 countries concluded that GM crops have little to offer global agriculture and the challenges of poverty, hunger, and climate change, because better alternatives are available. In particular, the report championed “agroecological” farming which is the application of the relations that living organisms have with respect to each other and their natural environment, as the sustainable way forward for developing countries.

"When we start to manipulate genetic material we are going to the very deepest sources, to the very deepest layers of the human being. It allows us to be almost god like. But the question is: Do we have the wisdom, the morality, the depth to do these interventions? Are we really knowing what we are doing? Are we sure that what we do will not have long-term effects? And we are not experimenting here with animals or plants. We are experimenting with the human being, with the soul of human beings, with the body of human beings." ~ Horst Kornberger

WHO ARE WE TO THINK WE CAN CREATE SAFER FOOD?

We Pasteurize
Pasteurization destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamin content, denatures fragile milk proteins, destroys vitamins C, B12 and B6, kills beneficial bacteria, promotes pathogens and is associated with allergies, increased tooth decay, colic in infants, growth problems in children, osteoporosis, arthritis, heart disease and cancer.

All almonds produced in the state of California, destined for the U.S., Canada, and Mexico are required (mandatory) to be pasteurized. Even organic almonds will be required to be pasteurized, even though there has been absolutely no incident of salmonella poisoning among organic almonds.

It also contains active enzymes and beneficial bacteria that make digestion and nutrient assimilation a smooth process. As another added bonus, raw milk contains twenty of the twenty-two amino acids our bodies need daily, making getting all of the proteins needed daily an easy task. Raw milk does not create the problems that conventional, pasteurized-homogenized milk creates, such problems as heart-disease and diabetes. To the contrary, raw milk provides nutrition that is near-unbeatable, actually reducing the risk of developing the aforementioned health issues.

We Homogenize
When homogenized, milk becomes very powerful and efficient at bypassing normal digestive processes and delivering steroid and protein hormones to the human body (both your hormones and the cow's natural hormones and the ones they may have been injected with to produce more milk).

Homogenization makes fat molecules in milk smaller and they become "capsules" for substances that are able to bypass digestion. Proteins that would normally be digested in the stomach are not broken down and instead they are absorbed into the bloodstream.

The homogenization process breaks up an enzyme in milk which in its smaller state can then enter the bloodstream and react against arterial walls. This causes the body to protect the area with a layer of cholesterol. If this only happened once in a while it wouldn't be of big concern, but if it happens regularly there are long term risks.

Sometimes homogenized milk proteins resemble a human protein and can become triggers for autoimmune diseases such as diabetes, multiple sclerosis, cancer and heart disease.

Instead of allowing natural bacteria and enzymes that would normally counteract the growth of pathogens, we destroy them and any health promoting nutrients to go along with it.

We Process
We process everything. Wheat is an excellent example. The majority of wheat is processed into 60% extraction, bleached white flour. 60% extraction--the standard for most wheat products means that 40% of the original wheat grain is removed. So not only do we have an unhealthier, modified, and hybridized strains of wheat, but we also remove and further degrade its nutritional value by processing it.

Unfortunately, the 40% that gets removed includes the bran and the germ of the wheat grain--its most nutrient-rich parts. In the process of making 60% extraction flour, over half of the vitamin B1, B2, B3, E, folic acid, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron, and fiber are lost. Any processed foods with wheat are akin to poison for the body since they cause more health risks than benefits. The body does not recognize processed wheat as food. Nutrient absorption from processed wheat products is thus consequential with almost no nutritional value.

Wheat in its original form from south-western Asia was eaten raw. In this form it was nutrient abundant with high mineral salts, catalytic elements, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chlorine, sulfur, silicon, zinc, manganese, cobalt, copper, iodide, vitamins A, B, E, K, D, and ferments. It was considered a base for nourishment. Modern wheat today is not wheat at all and in its current toxic form which is barely recognizable to the human digestive, it is very likely that 80 percent of people worldwide will soon stop eating wheat.

We Irradiate
Almost every food category can now be legally irradiated by government regulators at the expense of our health. Irradiated foods are exposed to high level radiation for the purpose of sterilizing it. There is an abundance of convincing evidence in the refereed scientific literature that the condensation products of the free radicals formed during irradiation produce statistically significant increases in carcinogenesis, mutagenesis and cardiovascular disease in animals and man. This is in addition to the destruction of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.

Take a look at the following list of now acceptable irradiated foods provided for the American Council on Science and Health.

Most foods available at major grocery chains can be potentially irradiated since the list is inclusive of all food categories.

The free radicals caused by irradiation kill some bacteria, but they also bounce around in the food, damage vitamins and enzymes, and combine with existing chemicals (like pesticides) in the food to form new chemicals, called unique radiolytic products (URPs).

Some of these URPs are known toxins (benzene, formaldehyde, lipid peroxides) and some are unique to irradiated foods. Scientists have not studied the long-term effect of these new chemicals in our diet. Therefore, we cannot assume they are safe.

Irradiated foods can lose 5%-80% of many vitamins (A, C, E, K and B complex). The amount of loss depends on the dose of irradiation and the length of storage time.

It is a fact that science has not proved that a long-term diet of irradiated foods is safe for human health. Yet we think that nature that has provided food for millions of years to earth's inhabitants now suddenly produces foods that are unsafe for our consumption.

We Toxically Preserve
We artificially preserve thousands of foods to extend their shelf life. As one of the most prolific preservatives in the food industry, it is difficult to find many foods without potassium sorbate. Food and chemical toxicology reports have labeled potassium sorbate as a carcinogen, showing positive mutation results in the cells of mammals. Other studies have shown broad systemic and toxic effects on non-reproductive organs in animals. No long term studies have ever been initiated on either animals or humans, so there is simply not enough evidence to theorize what could happen after years of ingesting this preservative. However, based on short-term carcinogenic and toxic effects, is it worth the risk to find out?

Sodium Benzoate can convert into lethal carcinogenic poison when combined with absorbic acid. Professor Peter Piper, a professor of molecular biology and biotechnology, tested the impact of sodium benzoate on living yeast cells in his laboratory. What he found alarmed him: the benzoate was damaging an important area of DNA in the "power station" of cells known as the mitochondria. "These chemicals have the ability to cause severe damage to DNA in the mitochondria to the point that they totally inactivate it: they knock it out altogether." he stated.

"The food industry will say these compounds have been tested and they are complete safe," he said. "By the criteria of modern safety testing, the safety tests were inadequate. Like all things, safety testing moves forward and you can conduct a much more rigorous safety test than you could 50 years ago."

Sodium Benzoate, as most other preservatives, should not be ingested in any quantity. This toxin is banned from all foods and drinks for children under three, and is currently being phased out of all Coca-Cola products.

The food industry's nature to preserve is directly correlated to extending shelf life to increase profits and reducing waste. If we were to live in sustainable societies where we would consume only what was necessary and balance our sustenance with ecological systems and principles, preservatives would be completely unnecessary and redundant. If anything, food preservatives will soon be in harmony with natural living and free of chemicals. This is where our food industry is headed and toxic preservatives will soon be a thing of the past.

We "cide" Everything
We use pesticides to control insects, herbicides to control weeds, fungicides to control mold and fungus, rodenticides to control rodents and antimicrobials to control bacteria. We use any "cide" we can get our hands on the control anything which is out of our control.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), 60 percent of herbicides, 90 percent of fungicides and 30 percent of insecticides are known to be carcinogenic, or cancer causing. And as written on the EPA site, laboratory studies show that pesticides can cause health problems such as:

  • Birth defects
  • Nerve damage
  • Cancer
  • Blocking the absorption of important food nutrients necessary for normal healthy growth in children
  • Other long-term effects

Pesticides are especially dangerous to children since they are still developing and may not be able to fully remove pesticides from their body. There are also periods during development when exposure to pesticides, or any toxin, can cause permanent damage to their system.

Pesticides are not only problematic on fruits and vegetables, but also in animal products. Factory farm animals eat feed that is loaded with pesticides, and these toxins accumulate in their flesh over their lifetimes. If you eat factory-farmed meat, you are also eating the pesticides that have accumulated in the animal’s flesh (not to mention the antibiotics and hormones).

We medicate all our bee populations with terramycin or oxytetracycline because we think that their diseases are not natural and must be controlled so we can continue to reap profits from their hard work. We then consume these medications from the honey and honey products bees produce.

A third of our food relies on bees for pollination. Both the US and UK report losing a third of their bees last year. Other European countries have seen major die-offs too: Italy, for example, said it lost nearly half its bees last year. The deaths are now spreading to Asia, with reports in India and suspected cases in China.

Due to genetic modification, different viruses, bacteria, fungi and parasites, honeybee colonies in different parts of the world are beginning to dissipate. Without honeybee pollination, some crops like almonds, pumpkins, watermelons, and some other melons would disappear completely.

We Are Losing Our Earth Because of Our Lack of Wisdom

There are so many researchers, experts and scientists expressing vast amounts of knowledge without any real wisdom. They were always so preoccupied about figuring out if they could, they never really thought about if they should. This is the predicament the scientific community is now facing. In science lies evidence and foundations of what we consider valid through controlled experimentation and process.

But what happens when that process is hijacked by corrupt corporate interests who do not have the foresight or the wisdom to comprehend the consequences of their actions? What happens is that a deeper understanding of human nature is lost along with the flexibility to see issues from perspectives other than their own. Wisdom shapes life and knowledge can often destroy it. If we can tip the scales and show humanity why wisdom must prevail over knowledge, Mother Earth may decide to spare us. In the meantime, she keeps knocking and waiting for us to listen. She is patient, but if she gets tired of waiting and opens that door, we won't want to be on the other side.

Marco Torres is a research specialist, writer and consumer advocate for healthy lifestyles. He holds degrees in Public Health and Environmental Science and is a professional speaker on topics such as disease prevention, environmental toxins and health policy.

Aborted Babies Are Being Chopped Up And Sold To Researchers All Over America With The Full Approval Of The Obama Administration

Did you know that aborted babies are being chopped up and sold to medical researchers all over America?  There is a federal law which is supposed to ban this practice, but it contains a gigantic loophole that abortion clinics are using to sell huge amounts of aborted baby parts to the scientific community.  The loophole in the federal law allows "reasonable payments associated with the transportation, implantation, processing, preservation, quality control, or storage of human fetal tissue."  But there are no guidelines as to what those "reasonable payments" should be and the Obama administration is not about to start prosecuting abortion clinics.  So aborted baby parts from American babies will continue to be very quietly sold for profit to medical researchers and most Americans will never hear anything about it.  But future generations will look back in horror at what we allowed to be done right under our noses.

With the full approval of the Obama administration, one company in the United States has plans to inject aborted baby brain cells into the eyes of patients to see if that will help improve their vision.

Antioxidant supplements seem to increase mortality
Thursday, 22 March 2012 15:46
Previous research on animal and physiological models suggests that antioxidant supplements have beneficial effects that may prolong life. Some observational studies also suggest that antioxidant supplements may prolong life, whereas other observational studies demonstrate neutral or harmful effects. A new review shows that antioxidant supplements seem to increase mortality. The current evidence does not support the use of antioxidant supplements in the general population or in patients with various diseases.

In a Relationship, Married or not… You should read this

Marriage.
"When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand
and said, I have something to tell you.
She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.
Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know
what I was thinking. I want a divorce.
I raised the topic calmly.
She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly,
why?
I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the
chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!
That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she
wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly
give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Jane. I didn't
love her anymore. I just pitied her!
With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated
that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She
glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten
years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her
wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had
said for I loved Jane so dearly.
Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected
to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of
divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and
clearer now.
The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something
at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell
asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Jane.
When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not
care so I turned over and was asleep again.
In the morning she presented her divorce conditions:
she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the
divorce.
She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal
a life as possible.
Her reasons were simple:
our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt
him with our broken marriage. This was agreeable to me.
But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her
into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that every day
for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front
door ever morning. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last
days together bearable I accepted her odd request.
I told Jane about my wife's divorce conditions. She laughed loudly and
thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to
face the divorce, she said scornfully.
My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was
explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we
both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mommy
in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to
the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in
my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about
the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside
the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the
office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my
chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I
hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time. I realized she
was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair
was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I
wondered what I had done to her.
On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy
returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.
On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was
growing again. I didn't tell Jane about this. It became easier to carry
her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.
She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few
dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my
dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so
thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it
hit me… she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart.
Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at
the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mom out. To him, seeing his
father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life.
My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I
turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this
last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom,
through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck
softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our
wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.
On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step.
Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't
noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office…. jumped out of
the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would
make me change my mind…I walked upstairs. Jane opened the door and I
said to her, Sorry, Jane, I do not want the divorce anymore. She looked
at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead. Do you have a fever?
She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Jane, I said, I won't
divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't
value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other
anymore. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our
wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart. Jane
seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the
door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.
At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my
wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and
wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.
That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I
run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.
My wife had been fighting CANCER for months and I was so busy with Jane
to even notice. She knew that she would die soon and she wanted to save
me from the whatever negative reaction from our son, in case we push
through with the divorce.— At least, in the eyes of our son—- I'm a
loving husband….
The small details of your lives are what really matter in a
relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the
bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot
give happiness in themselves.
So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for
each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!
If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.
If you do, you just might save a marriage.
Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they
were to success when they gave up."
I saw this on the internet.. I thought I would share this on Facebook on
my blog and on Twitter, hoping it may touch your heart and hopefully
save a wonderful relationship.

How One Company Teaches Employees the ABCs of Finance

To boost profits and improve the firm's interaction with clients, an insurance brokerage giant gives its 25,000 employees an education in finance and accounting.
By David McCann
February 16, 2012

Companies are in business to make money. So why is understanding how money is made — and core business concerns like risk management, financial reporting, and investor relations — almost solely the province of the finance department?

For salespeople, for example, it’s surely the case that knowing what makes their employers tick financially helps them sell in the way that most affects the bottom line. That advantage is multiplied by also appreciating finance and risk factors at client companies. It can even help non-customer-facing people realize the importance of pitching in on cost-saving efforts and recommending new efficiencies.

“When you improve the finance and accounting acumen across the company, good things happen,” says Jonathan Schiff, an accounting professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a longtime adviser to corporations. “It should be part of the CFO’s job to make sure everyone has a baseline understanding of those topics.”

For Marsh, a global insurance broker, “everyone” means everyone. The company launched a voluntary finance-education program last year and has made it mandatory for all 25,000 of its employees — or “colleagues,” in Marsh lingo — for 2012. The learning is delivered through a series of 27 video blogs in which company executives range topically from financial statements, investor strategy, and “thinking like an owner” to the company’s growth formula, scorecards, and “reviewing products through a financial lens,” among others.

The idea for the program — which is called “Making a Financial Impact at Marsh” — planted itself in the mind of Joe McSweeny, president of Marsh’s U.S./Canada division, during a “town-hall” tour of company offices in 2009. “It became evident to me that the broad swath of our colleague base did not understand earnings, and all that goes with that,” he says. “They did not understand how a public company functions or what its purpose is. I kept hearing funny comments like, “it’s a great day because the stock is up.’ ” Of course, a company’s share price on a given day is not likely a great gauge of its financial health.

Nick Hinton, Marsh’s finance director, adds that many people didn’t have a very good feel for the decisions a company must make, what a company is held accountable for, or the purpose of budgets, for instance.

The program’s conception and execution dovetailed with a pair of strategies Marsh was pursuing. One was linking more of employees’ compensation to the company’s net operating income. If total pay were contingent on earnings, knowing how to boost them would help both the company and the employees, the thinking went. “It was also partly about awareness-building,” says Hinton. “We wanted to help people understand that even though we were growing earnings, we were coming out of a very tough period, and they weren’t necessarily going to see major base-compensation increases.”

The other motivation was a desire to rebuild the company’s client relationships following the recession by having more substantive conversations with clients about their risk factors. Many client-facing employees, says McSweeny, didn’t sufficiently grasp how insurance products and risk-management services affect clients’ own financial performance. And they tended to have a shallow understanding of clients’ annual reports, which, he notes, “contain a lot of information about the company’s strategies and risk profile that is often couched in the language and presentation of its financials.”

Hinton says Marsh built the course on the assumption that participants would have very little understanding of finance concepts and terminology. But it’s hard to escape the notion that someone with no grounding in the topics might have a hard time following the discussions via the video blogs. A lot of information is delivered in short time frames; with only a couple of exceptions, the videos run between three and seven minutes.

But that’s where the program’s delivery through social media can help. The video blogs reside on Marsh U, the company’s education site, and participants can ask follow-up questions and offer commentary. For example, after watching a module delivered by chief operating officer Pat Hagemann, one participant asked, “Pat, I’m curious to know more about clients’ needs for data and their desire to make fact-based decisions. What types of analytics are they looking for? Is this about premium or about their coverage, exposures, or something else? Also, how do you see the sales process changing as a result of introducing analytics into the conversation?” Hagemann provided a lengthy reply.

The social-media approach and the content delivery by company executives may make Marsh’s educational initiative superior to those of other firms, suggests Schiff. “From an efficiency standpoint, getting education out to thousands of people can be done using media at a modest cost,” he says. “Many companies should emulate what Marsh has done.”

While efforts to give rank-and-file employees financial literacy aren’t uncommon in the financial-services sector, they’re much less prevalent elsewhere, Schiff observes. But even where such offerings exist, they are often of low quality, he adds. “Using internal people to convey the message is a big plus,” he says. “Marsh is taking a good position by not offering a check-the-box course provided by an outside vendor that doesn’t understand the company’s business.”

Schiff also applauds Marsh for making the program mandatory, unlike most others. Somewhat tongue-in-cheek, he says the company is making a statement that for an employee, a baseline degree of financial acumen “is just as important as knowing how to fill out your expense report or knowing where the restroom is.”

Meanwhile, Marsh is preparing to offer higher-level education that continues the theme of enhanced client contact derived from financial education. “Making a Financial Impact at Marsh” is now part of an umbrella program called “Driving Business Outcomes” that will include two more levels of learning. Each course will be a prerequisite for taking the next.

One of the new courses, for the one-third of company employees who are client-facing, will be called “Speaking the Language of Business” and provide a much deeper dive into financial statements. Understanding that language should help in communicating the value Marsh can provide for clients “by, for example, smoothing earnings or making efficient use of capital,” says McSweeny. The course will consist of four e-learning modules totaling about six hours.

The highest-level course, a half-day seminar followed six to eight weeks later by a day-and-a-half session, will include about 500 executive-level people and be called “Driving Results for Clients.” The aim is to marry the financial-statement knowledge they’ve gained with exposure to sophisticated analytics. Among other activities, participants will experience a hands-on, competitive board-game-like simulation in which they will assume senior roles with life sciences, communications, or power companies facing an assortment of internal and external risks.

The courses are designed in part to ease interaction with midsize companies, among which Marsh, whose traditional clients are large companies, is making a stronger push. That inevitably involves working directly with CFOs, who are likely to have direct risk-management responsibilities at companies of that size.

“It requires that we understand how CFOs see risk in the context of financial statements,” says McSweeny. “How does it impact their reporting and the variability of their income streams? These educational offerings are a very high priority for us that are underpinning some key strategies we’re driving.”

Make the Most of Meetings

Think about the last time you participated in a meeting with people who don’t usually work together:
—Was it hard for some people to park their egos at the door?
—Who engaged in turf wars to take command of the discussion?
—Who competed for meaty assignments?
—Did some people show vivid indifference? Inattention? Passion?

If the leader was skillful and popular and if the subject was exciting, you may have witnessed a successful example of team building. Perhaps people learned what to expect from one another and began to pull together to achieve common goals. Once the new team achieved the desired result and the members returned to their normal duties, it may have become clear who the “power players” were—those who could be useful for the next project.

Whether you are an executive assistant at the top of your game, a midlevel assistant with a “tiger by the tail,” or a newbie just learning your strengths, take the time to observe and get involved in the process of meeting effectively. The future of every organization depends on it.

Gradually, over a series of meetings, people learn each other’s strengths. They form alliances around shared interests. Effective leaders harness these alliances to power up assignments and produce impressive results. From your vantage point with senior executives, you have a close-up view of smart meeting leadership. Emulate it when it’s your turn to lead a group.

Meeting Leadership
The best meeting leaders have learned that every team has several leaders—some formal, others informal. These include:

Official Leaders: These managers have the formal authority to run the meeting and issue assignments. However, if they want commitment from others, they know they have to share power with the informal leaders in the group.

Subject Matter Experts: These informal leaders bring specialist knowledge to the
table. Smart meeting leaders invite them to contribute strongly in their subject areas.

Charismatic Leaders: These informal leaders bring popularity, energy, and passion
to meetings, whether they are for or against the proposal. When they speak, others listen. Smart bosses listen and respond.

Slow Starters: These meeting members are smart players who don’t think aloud. They may need an invitation to contribute. Good leaders inform them with pre-meeting previews. They also provide visual aids, games, and other ploys to involve these less verbal team members.

Naysayers: These are the habitual pessimists or cynics who enjoy tearing down any favored idea. Smart meeting leaders welcome them, to a point. Better to handle early opposition inside the team than to face surprise attacks from outside, late in the game.

Meeting Planning
If meeting management is among your tasks, you may already use a preferred template. If not—here’s a useful format to help you and your managers clarify their meeting requests quickly.

To request a meeting, fill in the fields below…

1. Purpose ________________________________________________

2. Desired Outcome      _____________________________________

3. Approach       ____________________________________________

4. Participants   ___________________________________________

5. Day/Time/Place ________________________________________

6. Duration    _____________________________________________

7. Physical Layout   _______________________________________

8. Announcement Method   ________________________________

9. Agenda    _______________________________________________

10. Follow-up   _____________________________________________

Meeting Ground Rules
When you begin new partnerships, it is often appropriate to create some ground rules. This can easily be accomplished by answering such questions as:
  • What do we want to achieve during our time together? (What are our objectives?)
  • What expectations do we all have about preparations for these meetings?
  • What roles will each of us play and what are we expected to contribute?
  • What happens when team members do not meet established expectations?
  • How should we handle contention or disagreement?
  • What criteria can we establish to gauge our progress and/or success?
  • What rules, if any, should we establish about communication?
  • What other ground rules should we include?
You may come up with something like the following list of rules to post on your meeting room wall:

1.  Find a way to take an active part in the meeting. Offer your services or accept an assignment.
2. Study the topic beforehand so you can contribute useful data from your viewpoint.
3. Work toward the group’s goals or debate them, but do not pursue a private agenda.
4. Keep an open mind; consider others’ ideas willingly.
5. Practice active listening. Concentrate on what is being said before you respond.
6. Use feedback and self-disclosure as humbly as you can.
7. Concentrate on process and projects, not personalities.
8. Interact ethically; avoid labeling other people’s motives.
9. Enjoy the process of learning together.

You will find that when groups establish their own operating rules and then post them where they can be seen and used to guide meetings, participants will be more likely to abide by them and so the group will be more successful.

Rules Governing Feedback

Giving feedback:
—Ask the presenter if he/she would like feedback.
—Share your expectations based on the presenter’s introduction of the presentation.
—Express how your expectations were met.
—Suggest how the presentation might be improved in any of these areas:

  • Structure or persuasion (How can they be more convincing?)
  • Eye contact or other body language (How can they appear more credible?)
  • Content (How might it be more useful or persuasive?)
  • Give one or more genuine compliments.

Receiving feedback:
—Acknowledge whether or not you would like feedback.
—If you want feedback on a specific aspect of your presentation, say so before you begin.
—Listen openly. Listening does not mean you have to agree.
—Ask clarifying questions as needed.
—Avoid arguing.
—Thank the person for their input.

Don’t Just Be a Manager…Be a Human Lie Detector/Manager.

By American Management Association24. September 2010 07:00
Pssstt. You. At the computer. Keep this hush hush…there are ways to learn if your employees are being truthful or not without the use of an undercover agent and/or private eye. Here are some signals to look for. And remember…no single gesture by itself will tell you…but several together should be enough for you to question any verbal message:

  • The employee fails to maintain strong eye contact and, instead, looks at the floor or the ceiling—anywhere but in your face.
  • The employee repeats himself or herself several times to overcome any doubt you might have. The more often the message is repeated, the more doubtful the truth of the message.
  • The employee replies in a higher-pitched voice, one that is also louder than normal. This is an involuntary, often fearful, response.
  • The speaker’s eyes shift, often to the left, and blink.
  • The speaker’s eyes become smaller. Tiny pupils are sometimes an involuntary response by the body to a deliberate falsehood.
  • The speaker swallows harder and more obviously, another involuntary physical response to having told a lie.
  • The not-so-discreet individual covers his or her mouth in an attempt to muffle the information given.

How should you respond? You should maintain eye contact and neutral body language, remain silent and wait for a response. Sometimes, your reaction to the employee’s words may be enough to prompt him or her to jabber until sufficient information comes out to enable you to probe for the truth. You can also speak up. Respond, “Are you sure that is the case?” or “Is that accurate?” Again, wait. Give the employee a chance to be honest.

Some African Sex Workers Are Naturally HIV Resistant

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2012

Some African sex workers are naturally HIV resistant.  The women are protected by a weak inflammatory response in their vaginas

A research team lead by Dr. Michel Roger of the University of Montreal Hospital Centre and the university’s Department of Microbiology and Immunology has found that HIV-resistant sex workers in Africa have a weak inflammatory response in their vaginas – a surprise for the researchers, who were expecting the contrary considering the women’s high exposure to the virus.

“In this part of the world, women represent over 60% of HIV cases, and this proportion continues to increase,” Roger said. “Studying women who are naturally resistant to the virus enables researchers to identify interesting information in terms of developing vaccinations or microbid gels that could prevent transmission of HIV.” The word microbid refers to something that is able to destroy microbes.

Roger has been working with women from Benin and Zimbabwe over the course of the past fifteen years in order to get a better idea of the immune and molecular mechanisms involved in the transmission of HIV. These countries were targeted because of the high number of infected women and the existence of natural resistance in some of them. The researchers found that when these women come into contact with the virus, the immune system cells in their vaginas produced fewer inflammatory molecules (cytokines and chemokines) than the same cells in HIV-infected women.

These molecules play a role in activating and recruiting “lymphocyte T-cells” that normally attack and destroy viruses. However, HIV is cunning and actually uses the T-cell to invade the body. “Fewer T-cells means fewer target cells available for the virus to use,” Roger explained.

Intriguingly, the researchers discovered that the immune response was very different in the women’s blood than in their vaginal mucous membrane. The findings show that it would undoubtedly be more effective to develop vaccinations that would block the virus at the entry point to the body rather than try to fight it once it is already established within the body’s system. “AIDS vaccination research has entirely focused on the blood stream and this approach has been a failure,” Roger said. “Our research shows that the immune response is different at the site of the infection, and that we should turn to the entry points in order to find a means for blocking the virus.” A vaccination of this kind could be administered via the nose and would immunize all mucus membranes in the body.

Research will continue in order to better understand the molecular mechanisms involved in the vaginal immune response. Scientists suspect that genetic factors may be at play, as it has been discovered that sisters living in similar circumstances have the same HIV-resistant profile.

Dr. Michel Roger’s latest published research in this area appeared in the September 2011 edition of PLoS One. The study “High Level of Soluble HLA-G in the Female Genital Tract of Beninese Commercial Sex Workers Is Associated with HIV-1 Infection” received funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Réseau SIDA of the Fonds de la Recherche en Santé du Québec. The University of Montreal and the University of Montreal Hospital Centre are officially known as Université de Montréal and Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM), respectively.

Endometriosis Destroys Quality of Life

By Siphosethu Stuurman, 7 February 2012
About 1 in 10 women of reproductive age suffer from a chronic and painful condition known as endometriosis. The disease can impact on the lives of women in a considerably adverse manner.

Forty-two year-old Pauline Sangham, a presenter and producer for the SABC's Lotus FM, has endured excruciating pelvic pains for the past seven years.

"Oh my word! The pain... the lower back pain extreme! The pelvic pain that was mostly on my left side... It felt like I was about to have a stroke and there were sucking pains that sucked out my energy. The pains would go away and come back. They were so extreme I thought I was gonna die", says Sangham, describing the pain caused by endometriosis.

Her condition remained a mystery for a long time until much later when she was eventually diagnosed with endometriosis.

"The people around me didn't understand this. I didn't understand it So, I couldn't explain it to them. By the time I got to actually know what endometriosis is all about, it was really too late", says Sangham.

Symptoms caused by endometriosis can be easily mistaken for those of other illnesses, leading to delays of 8 - 10 years before a correct diagnosis can be made.

"I met Professor Bagratee from the University of KZN and he sat me down the one afternoon, and we spoke about Endometriosis. He showed me pictures and made me understand that it was a disease. But prior to that, I had no knowledge of it", says Sangham.

With no relief from her pains and after repeated visits to her doctor, Sangham was frequently off work and that caused her problems with her employers and they started getting impatient with her.

"My bosses couldn't understand why I was always sick, always in pain. I always complained like an old lady", she says.

The disease took a toll on Sangham's professional life as she became less productive due to the many days she took off sick.

"I'm a freelancer and that made it even more difficult because I didn't have a medical aid. And if I didn't go to work I didn't get paid and that used to be for a lengthy period of time. It meant that I now faced a financial crisis", says Sangham.

It was not just her career that was at risk of falling apart because of endometriosis. Her personal life was also affected.

"I had drastic mood swings, I was always naggy, and I was always irritable everything seemed humongous. My entire relationship with my family was not a pleasant one, and I can understand why they tried to stay away from me", says Sangham.

Dr. Peter Koll, a specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, in private practise in Johannesburg, says endometriosis can have a devastating effect on a woman's life in the workplace.

"Endometriosis does account for extra days of work lost, decreased work productivity, chronic fatigue, irritability and even depression, which all, obviously, can affect work performance", he says.

Dr. Koll says endometriosis is a chronic disease where tissue that resembles the lining of the womb, the uterus, is found elsewhere in the body. This tissue forms endometrial scratches which cause internal bleeding and are most often found on the ovaries and all other organs within a woman's pelvis.

"The lining of the womb is called the endometrium. That is the lining that comes away every month with menstruation. When that lining gets outside the uterus and seeds out in the pelvis, you bleed internally. Every time you bleed externally, that sets up pain, inflammation... And that's endometriosis", says Dr. Koll.

"The typical symptoms that one would watch for is painful intercourse, chronic pelvic pain and painful periods. It's prevalent to women of reproductive age. There is no endometriosis before puberty and there is no new endometriosis after menopause. So, anybody during their reproductive years can develop endometriosis", he adds.

Dr. Koll urges women not to tolerate unusual menstrual pain.

"We need to break this traditional tolerance that women have for "women's problems". It's not normal to suffer pain, it's not normal to stay in bed once a month with pain, it's not normal to take masses and masses of pain killers", he says.

While endometriosis can be treated and managed, it is important that it is diagnosed early. However, the disease can never be completely cured. If diagnosed late, as in the case of Pauline Sangham, it is possible for the condition to recur.

"I've had my hysterectomy and it's a year later now. It was about a week ago that I felt some pain coming back. It means I have to go back to my doctor to see if it's recurring", says Sangham.

Sperm Can Be Stored In Females' Bodies For Years, Study Shows

Sometimes babies come along at inopportune times - after sex, the human body can only delay fertilization for 3 to 5 days. But what if each woman had her own personal sperm bank? What if she could hold on to sperm until she felt ready to get pregnant?

Researchers have found many females in the natural world possess the nifty ability to store sperm within their bodies for weeks and even years. In the past decade, scientists have discovered that female birds, reptiles, insects, and even whale sharks use this uncanny reproductive method. By keeping the sperm on hold, researchers say, a female can start pregnancy at her leisure.

One of the most extreme examples of this trait exists in queen ants. They can fertilize their eggs with sperm stored for up to 30 years.

But how these sneaky females pull it off?

Dr. Klaus Reinhardt from the University of Sheffield has a new study, published in Proceedings of the Royal Society B, which found that female crickets are able to store sperm within by slowing the sperm's aging process to prolong its viability.

By analyzing sperm taken from female crickets' reproductive tracts, Reinhardt and his team monitored the metabolic rate of male crickets' sperm and how many 'free radicals' it produced - measures of the sperm's aging process. The scientists found that both the metabolic rate and the level of free radicals of stored sperm were much lower than that of un-stored sperm. By dampening the aging process, females can keep sperm alive almost indefinitely.

Not interested in cricket sex? Dr. Reinhardt pointed to a practical application of this finding, saying it suggests that commonly used semen analysis tests may not accurately gauge whether a man is able to father children.

"Infertility tests on sperm are notoriously unreliable, and this could be one reason why," Dr. Reinhardt said in a written statement. "Females could be manipulating sperm."

Story at-a-glance

  • The HPV vaccine is NOT harmless like it is being promoted and has not been proven to actually prevent cervical cancer
  • The HPV vaccine only protects against TWO strains of HPV associated with cancer but there are MORE THAN 100 different strains of HPV in all.
  • Dr. Diane Harper, one of the lead researchers for Gardasil blew the whistle on the vaccine, saying the available data suggests the HPV vaccine's protective effects do not last beyond five years.
  • The VAERS database continues to swell with reports of autoimmune disorders contracted after receiving the HPV vaccine. These side effects now include 137 reports of cervical dysplasia, and 41 reports of cervical cancer.
  • HPV infection clears up on its own within two years in 90 percent of all cases. It rarely leads to cervical cancer unless the infection becomes chronic and leads to cervical changes that remain untreated. Routine pap smear testing can identify chronic HPV infection and may provide greater protection against development of cervical cancer than reliance on an HPV vaccine that has not been adequately proven to be safe or effective.

During a Republican debate in Tampa, Florida, presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota) alleged that campaign contributions from drug company Merck—the maker of Gardasil—played "a pivotal role in Rick Perry's 2007 executive order that mandated teenage girls in Texas be inoculated against HPV," CNN reports.
The order did not go into effect, however, as it was later overturned by the legislature.
Still, it's hard to overlook the potential for undue influence and conflict of interest. Perry responded that the company gave only $5,000 to his campaign.
However, Merck has contributed:

Vaccines Never Worked, Never Will, But You'll Never Hear This From Mainstream Medicine

Vaccines Never Worked, Never Will, But You'll Never Hear This From Mainstream Medicine | Before It's News:

They have single digit success rates, they're full of toxic chemicals and they cause diseases to a greater percentage of the population that receive them than those who don't. It's time to reassess the reality that vaccines do not work and never have.

The main advances in combating disease over the last 200 years have been cleaner drinking water (until they added fluoride), improved sanitation, less overcrowded and better living conditions. Vaccines have never been proven to prevent any disease ever. The have not advanced the health of human beings in any way.

The reality of two centuries of mortality graphs, and disease declines and vaccine effectiveness vs. dangers is always in stark contradiction to the claims of government health officials.

My typical 9 questions which receive only ludicrous answers from the conventional medical community are as follows:

1. Could you please provide one non-biased, independently monitored, double-blind, placebo-controlled study that can prove the safety and effectiveness of vaccines? It's quite laughable, but there have some pathetic attempts to answer the question with mainstream medical journals controlled by the pharmaceutical industry.

2. Could you please provide scientific evidence on ANY study which can confirm the long-term safety and effectiveness of vaccines?

3. Could you please provide non-biased, independently monitored scientific evidence which can prove that disease reduction in any part of the world, at any point in history was attributable to inoculation of populations?

4. Could you please explain how the safety and mechanism of vaccines in the human body are scientifically proven if their pharmacokinetics (the study of bodily absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of ingredients) are never examined or analyzed in any vaccine study?

5. Could you please provide scientific justification as to how injecting a human being with a confirmed neurotoxin is beneficial to human health and prevents disease?

6. Can you provide a risk/benefit profile on how the benefits of injecting a known neurotoxin exceeds its risks to human health for the intended goal of preventing disease?

7. Could you please provide scientific justification on how bypassing the respiratory tract (or mucous membrane) is advantageous and how directly injecting viruses into the bloodstream enhances immune functioning and prevents future infections?

8. Could you please provide scientific justification on how a vaccine would prevent viruses from mutating?

9. Could you please provide scientific justification as to how a vaccination can target a virus in an infected individual who does not have the exact viral configuration or strain the vaccine was developed for?

One of the most critical elements which defines the toxicity potential of any vaccine are its pharmacokinetic properties. Drug companies and health agencies refuse to consider the study, analysis or evaluation of the pharmacokinetic properties of any vaccine.

There is not one double-blind, placebo-controlled study in the history of vaccine development that has ever proven their safety, effectiveness or achievements (unless those achievements have underlined their damage to human health).

There are also no controlled studies completed in any country which have objectively proven that vaccines have had any direct or consequential effect on the reduction of any type of disease in any
part of the world.

Every single study that has ever attempted to validate the safety and effectiveness of vaccines has conclusively established carcinogenic, mutagenic, neurotoxic or fertility impairments, but they won't address those.

It is a scientifically established fact in literally hundreds of studies that the preservatives and chemical additives in vaccines damage cells. Neurotoxicity, immune suppression, immune-mediated chronic inflammation and carcinogenic proliferation are just a few of several effects that have been observed on the human body. See a list of chemicals in vaccines

Fortunately, the drug companies still tell us the damage vaccines have on the human body. People just don't read them. All you have to do is look at the insert for any vaccine, and it will detail the exact ingredients used. FDA approved flu vaccines and Health Canada approved flu vaccines are perfect examples of the toxic nature of what is being injected.

All promoters of vaccination fail to realize that the respiratory tract of humans (actually all mammals) contains antibodies which initiates natural immune responses within the respiratory tract mucosa. Bypassing this mucosal aspect of the immune system by directly injecting viruses into the bloodstream leads to a corruption in the immune system itself. As a result, the pathogenic viruses or bacteria cannot be eliminated by the immune system and remain in the body, where they will further grow and/or mutate as the individual is exposed to ever more antigens and toxins in the environment which continue to assault the immune system.

Despite the injection of any type of vaccine, viruses continue circulating through the body, mutating and transforming into other organisms. The ability of a vaccine manufacturer to target the exact viral strain without knowing its mutagenic properties is equivalent to shooting a gun at a fixed target that has already been moved from its location. You would be shooting at what was, not what is!

Flu viruses, may mutate, change or adapt several times over a period of one flu season, making the seasonal influenza vaccine 100% redundant and ineffective every single flu season. Ironically, the natural immune defenses of the human body can target these changes but the vaccines cannot.
I have never encountered one pro-vaccine advocate, whether medically or scientifically qualified, who could answer even 1 let alone all 9 of these questions with any credibility at all.

Five Myths to Keep in Mind About Flu Vaccines

Myth 1: The Flu Shot is very effective.
Statistically, you are less likely to get the flu if you haven't had a flu vaccine. A BCTV reporter in Vancouver, commenting on the overload in BC emergency rooms, said that out of 32 people who had received a flu shot, 30 got the flu.

Myth 2: The Flu Shot has a high success rate.
This is a vaccine that only has a 6.25% success rate. This is a pretty big under-achievement, considering that the average reaction to placebo injections of distilled water is 30%.

Myth 3: The Flu Shot is safe.
Hugh Fudenberg MD, who is the world's leading immunogeneticist, says that if a person had 5 flu vaccinations between 1970 and 1980 he/she is 10 times more likely to get Alzheimer's Disease than if he/she had only one or two shots. Fudenberg said that this was because of the aluminum and mercury, which almost every flu vaccine contains. The gradual accumulation of aluminum and mercury in the brain leads to cognitive dysfunction.

Myth 4: There are no harmful ingredients in vaccinations.
Flu vaccines consist primarily of 3 categories of ingredients. First there are viruses and cultured bacteria. The second ingredient is the way in which they can be cultivated. This includes aborted human fetal cells, chick embryos, pig blood, monkey kidney tissue, cowpox pus, and calf serum, and all of these foreign proteins get injected straight into your bloodstream. A bit repulsive just thinking about it, isn't it? The flu shot also contains neutralizers, stabilizers, carrying agents and preservatives such as mercury, aluminum, and formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is something that is used for embalming the dead and is known to cause cancer. There is no amount of formaldehyde considered safe when injected into a living organism.

Myth 5: The Flu Shot works.
The flu shot could actually weaken your immune system and make you more likely to catch this virus. It has absolutely no value and should probably be avoided for your own safety. Not only is it loaded with toxic chemicals, but many people actually get the flu shortly after getting the shot, because it weakens their immune system instead of making it stronger like it is claimed to do.

It's time to end vaccinating people of ANY age. If it's toxic and ineffective, why do we continue this outdated and dangerous practice?
