Why cooking with a microwave destroys cancer-fighting nutrients in food and promotes nutritional deficiencies
Microwaves absolutely decimate the nutritional value of your food, destroying the very vitamins and phytonutrients that prevent disease and support good health. Previous studies have shown that as much as 98% of the cancer-fighting nutrients in broccoli, for example, are destroyed by microwaving.
To understand why, you have to understand the nature of vitamins and phytonutrients (plant-based nutrients). These are very delicate molecules which are fragile. They are easily destroyed by heat, which is why raw plant foods contain more plant nutrients than cooked foods. Carotenoids, antioxidants and other molecules like DIM (in broccoli) or anthocyanins (in purple corn) are all easily destroyed by microwave energy.
Microwaving is the worst way to cook foods because microwaves excite the water molecules inside whatever you're cooking, causing heat to be formed from the inside out. This results in a cell-by-cell "nuking" of the food (such as broccoli, carrots, etc.), causing the near-total molecular decomposition of the vitamins and phytonutrients that promote disease.
Microwaved food is not merely "dead" food at every level, it is food that has been molecularly deconstructed, leaving nothing but empty calories, fiber and minerals. Virtually the entire vitamin and phytonutrient content has been destroyed.
Anybody who says microwaving food is a healthy way to cook is wildly ignorant of nutrition and cooking methods. While steaming vegetables is, indeed, a good method for some veggies to help make certain nutrients more bioavailable, microwaving destroys veggies from the inside out at a cellular level.

Soda Pop and Other Sugary Drinks Kill About 180,000 People Every Year - Study

It is alarming to know that most Americans drink sugary beverages. In fact a massive propaganda (advertisement) campaign started back before my time. Soda pops were only 5 cents according to my Dad.
However, at that time sodas and other drinks were likely made with real sugars as opposed to high fructose corn syrup which is used in most drinks today as a form of sweetener (a cancer inhibitor). In fact researchers from University of California-Los Angeles found just that. An excerpt from a Mike Adams article reads;
Their findings, which were published in the journal Cancer Research, could help explain earlier studies that have linked ingestion of fructose with pancreatic cancer, one of the deadliest forms of the disease.
“These findings show that cancer cells can readily metabolize fructose to increase proliferation,” Dr. Anthony Heaney of UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center and colleagues wrote in 2010.
“They have major significance for cancer patients given dietary refined fructose consumption, and indicate that efforts to reduce refined fructose intake or inhibit fructose-mediated actions may disrupt cancer growth,” he said.

Legal drugs kill more Americans than crack
by Dr. W.C. Douglas II, M.D.
We don't need dope, smack, crack, meth, heroin or any other street drug to kill ourselves, folks -- because LEGAL meds are doing the job just fine.
Nearly 40,000 people were killed by drug overdoses in 2010 alone, and the vast majority of them -- nearly 60 percent -- were from prescription drugs.
This wasn't some mass wave of suicides, either. Those accounted for just 17 percent of that total.
The rest -- the 83 percent -- were people just like you. People who went to the doctor's office for help, usually with pain, and walked out with a prescription for the drug that would ultimately kill them.
Three quarters of the deaths involved opioid painkillers -- drugs given to seniors every single day, and often for conditions where they are unnecessary and downright ineffective.
In 2009, 40 percent of all patients diagnosed with osteoarthritis were given opioid painkillers. And just last year, a study found that 7 percent of seniors are given opioids after cataract surgery despite the fact that exactly NONE of them should get these meds.
